ACQUIRE is a brand new, two-day educational event and tradeshow for government acquisition and management professionals looking to deliver on their agencies’ missions. By facilitating the education, training and professional development of those involved in each stage of the acquisition lifecycle—strategy, acquisition and program management—ACQUIRE's mission is to help government agencies create, manage and run successful programs.
ACQUIRE will focus on three key OMB spending categories: Professional Services, Office Management and Information Technology. Not your average tradeshow, ACQUIRE will also feature the Happy Fed pavilion that is dedicated to helping federal employees achieve a balanced, fulfilled and happy work life. Happy Fed includes inspirational keynotes and helpful clinics that will challenge all of us to recalibrate our work practices.
Government professionals from all stages of the program lifecycle, including the strategists, decision makers and end users, will be in attendance at ACQUIRE 2016. You'll connect with CIOs and CTOs, Acquisitions Directors, IT Directors, Program Managers, Project Managers, Contracting Officers, Senior Purchasing Agents, Facilities Managers and Program Analysts—just to name a few.
Expected agencies include all U.S. government departments and agencies, as well as state and local IT teams from across the country.
